Production Engineer Job Opportunity

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the operational integrity of complex systems, ensuring seamless functionality and reliability.

As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for managing production environments, providing technical oversight, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and implement enhancements.

  • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of production systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, process maps, and runbooks to support incident resolution and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions to meet those requirements.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, responding to failure escalations and leading root cause analysis efforts.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a technology role, preferably in software development and/or application support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical discussions.
  • Experience with database query writing using SQL (MS SQL preferred) and familiarity with Linux operating system commands.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions within the global team framework.
  • Results-oriented approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under pressure.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working in cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure).
  • Software development skills to perform code changes for bug fixes or automation tasks.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments while prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
