Job Description

This is a childcare practitioner position in Galway, County Galway.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience in a childcare setting and be able to develop, coordinate and direct varied activities involving children from 2 to 6 years old.

They must also be fluent in English, have their own transport and be able to work well with other team members at the service.

  • Assist in developing, coordinating and directing varied activities involved in the childcare setting.
  • Guide, observe, stimulate and supervise children in a safe and caring environment.
  • Meet established policies and procedures, creating an environment of best practice.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Childcare qualification or equivalent.
  • First Aid and Manual Handling an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
