Security Solutions Expert

The Global Services, Security team is responsible for developing scalable security solutions that drive business outcomes. Key objectives include:

  • Developing automation tools to improve operational efficiency and generate new insights from existing data.
  • Evaluating opportunities for automating partner security mechanisms across various business tools and systems.
  • Collaborating with teams to implement scalable processes and tooling solutions for regular audits of partner security controls and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage incoming issues to determine the level of risk they present to AWS and prioritize their remediation in conjunction with impacted service teams.
  • Demonstrate high capacity and tolerance for context switching and interruptions while remaining productive and effective.
  • Escalate issues to senior leadership if necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, software development, cryptography, system administration, or network security.
  • Knowledge of commonly found software security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
  • 2+ years of programming experience in languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++.
