Job Title:

Strategic Finance Director

This leadership opportunity involves overseeing all aspects of group financial management. As a pivotal figure, you will report directly to the senior leadership team and ensure robust reporting.

You will be responsible for managing and developing a finance team, partnering with operations and commercial leaders to drive profitability and performance. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts across all companies and divisions
  • D Delivering weekly/monthly reports using Power Pivot and Power BI
  • Managing and mentoring a finance team of four
  • Leading costing and margin improvement projects
  • Partnering with Operations and Sales on commercial decisions
  • Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Managing working capital, including debtors and inventory valuation
  • Handling month-end and year-end processes with auditors
  • Supporting ERP rollout and integration (Microsoft Business Central)

About You:

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent), 5+ years experience in a senior finance role. Strong commercial acumen with a hands-on approach. Proven leadership skills with a passion for developing people and processes. Advanced Excel skills. Experience with ERP implementation and Power BI is desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across functions.
