Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Database Professional to oversee the installation, configuration and optimization of our enterprise database platform.

This role involves designing systems that process massive amounts of data, ensuring high performance and stability. Collaboration with various teams is essential to share ideas and recommendations for solutions that will increase and expand enterprise database capabilities.

A key aspect of this position is to ensure scalability, leveraging knowledge of relational databases to maintain stability and improve system efficiency.

In addition, this opportunity offers continuous learning and growth, with exposure to emerging technologies and trends in the field.

Main Responsibilities:
  • System Design: Designing and optimizing systems to process large volumes of data, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams to share knowledge and best practices, driving innovation and improvement.
  • Scalability: Ensuring the stability and scalability of our enterprise database platform, utilizing knowledge of relational databases.
  • Continuous Learning: Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the field, driving growth and innovation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience with MariaDB, including installation, configuration and optimization.
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle, including troubleshooting, performance tuning and backup/recovery concepts.
  • Strong relational database knowledge, including Linux operating system and shell scripting.
  • Thorough understanding of high availability architectures and cloud computing.
