Job Title: Consumer Propositions Manager

About the Role:

The role of Consumer Propositions Manager is a critical position in our organization, responsible for owning the end-to-end design, development and launch of new consumer propositions. As a key member of our team, you will use innovation methods such as design thinking and lean startup to uncover customer needs, and pair this with commercial and governance discipline to bring bold ideas to market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the design, testing and launch of new consumer propositions.
  • Applying design thinking, service design and lean startup methods to uncover needs, test quickly and co-create solutions.
  • Designing and running experiments, pilots and customer testing to validate ideas and de-risk new propositions before scaling.
  • Using agile ways of working to iterate and deliver at pace while ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in proposition, product or service design in a fast-paced consumer industry.
  • A strong customer focus with ability to translate insights into differentiated propositions.
  • Hands-on experience with innovation frameworks such as design thinking, lean startup, design sprints and service design.
  • A comfort level with running experiments and prototypes to validate ideas early and reduce risk.
  • Able to gather and interpret customer insights, market trends and data analytics to inform decisions.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in business case development, pricing and partnerships.
  • Experience working in agile cross-functional squads.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to inspire and influence.
  • Organised and pragmatic, with the ability to manage governance, compliance and regulatory considerations alongside innovation.
  • A collaborative leader who can coach teams, facilitate co-creation and champion an innovation mindset.
