Job Overview

The Inventory and Warehouse Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the company's inventory levels to ensure seamless product availability, quantity, and timely delivery. This position requires effective collaboration with Planning, Sourcing, Purchasing, Logistics, and Warehouse staff to maintain optimal inventory levels, reduce excess stock, prevent stockouts, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

This key leadership role involves managing and developing the Warehouse Team through close coordination with the Warehouse Team Leader. Establishing standard work routines for warehouse processes and developing training programs for the team are crucial responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop the Warehouse Team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Oversee the implementation of efficient inventory control systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
RequirementsEducation

A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma with a focus on Inventory or Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or Operations Management is essential.

Experience

At least 2-5 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations is required. A proven track record of managing stock control systems, handling procurement or purchasing requirements, and using enterprise resource planning (ERP) or warehouse management systems (WMS) is necessary.

Skills
  • Proficiency in inventory software such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with lean or just-in-time (JIT) practices.
  • Knowledge of international logistics and import/export regulations.
