Supply Chain Operations Manager

A pivotal role within the supply chain function, overseeing a warehouse team, managing stock levels, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the warehouse team to ensure high performance standards are met.
  • Implement and monitor warehouse processes and inventory control procedures to optimize logistics operations.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to support customer and production requirements through efficient stock management systems.
  • Drive inventory accuracy through regular audits, cycle counts, and ERP updates to minimize errors.
  • Streamline warehouse operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
  • Manage stock control systems (ERP/WMS) and oversee Kanban and reorder points to maintain a smooth supply chain.
  • Coordinate supplier deliveries, logistics, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  • Reduce waste and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • 2–5 years' experience in inventory management and warehouse leadership, preferably with ERP/WMS system knowledge.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (SAP experience an advantage).
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills to drive informed decision-making.
  • Experience implementing lean, JIT, or continuous improvement practices to enhance operational excellence.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage stock, and deliver operational improvements.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills to navigate complex logistics challenges.
