Job Description

This role is focused on supporting the implementation of laboratory-related applications for the Cúram Electronic Health Record (EHR) system across UPMC Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will collaborate closely with operational stakeholders, including other Stream and Workstream leads, workstream members, change management, and communications teams to deliver the Laboratory workstream within the Cúram EHR implementation.
  • They will assist in executing tasks within the project scope and governance, including stakeholder coordination and milestone tracking.
  • The individual will contribute to documenting workflows, system configurations, and testing different outcomes to support a seamless end-user experience.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science or a related field, or equivalent experience in clinical laboratory operations is required.
  • Registration with CORU, if applicable, is also necessary.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical laboratory operations is expected.
  • Familiarity with laboratory workflows, clinical safety practices, and quality reporting standards is essential.
  • Good project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills are crucial for this position.
