Job Opportunity: Management Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our finance team in the healthcare sector. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts for group companies and providing support to senior management with budgeting, tax planning, and systems development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate management accounts for group companies.
  • Budgeting and Planning: Support senior management with budgeting, tax planning, and systems development.
  • Cashflow Management: Manage cashflow effectively to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Inter-Company Transactions: Manage inter-company transactions efficiently.
  • Internal Controls: Continuously review and enhance internal financial controls to ensure compliance with statutory and taxation obligations.
  • Audit and Compliance: Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Accounting Qualification: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Experience: 13 years post-qualification experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • IT and Financial Systems: Strong IT and financial systems skills
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Language: Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
