Job Title: Financial Operations Expert

This role is focused on delivering accurate financial reports and supporting decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a commercial mindset, be comfortable thinking of new ways of working, and have a drive to streamline work and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee month-end close and deliver accurate financial reports, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.
  • Partner with commercial and operational teams to support decision-making through P&L analysis, KPI tracking, and financial insights.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes by consolidating inputs, modelling scenarios, and maintaining rolling forecasts.
  • Maintain strong financial controls, ensuring compliance with policies and mitigating risk across finance activities.
  • Drive process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and implementing streamlined accounting and reporting solutions.
  • Manage cash flow and working capital, including forecasting liquidity needs, monitoring AR/AP, and coordinating internal funding.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance role, preferably within banking, financial services, or leasing.
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS and month-end close processes; advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables and financial modelling).
  • Strong analytical mindset.
  • Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
