Job Title:

Data Protection Manager

 

Job Overview:

The Data Protection Manager plays a crucial role in leading our organization's data protection program, ensuring compliance with global data protection laws and regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies to ensure adherence to GDPR, the EU AI Act, and international standards.
  • Provide guidance across business units, manage risk, and safeguard personal data.
  • Manage and respond to Data Subject Rights requests including access, rectification, and erasure.
  • Lead Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs).
  • Maintain and update the Record of Processing Activities (ROPA).

 

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in data protection, privacy, compliance, or governance roles.
  • Proven experience advising senior leaders and boards on data protection issues.
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR, the EU AI Act, UK Data Protection Act, US privacy laws, and other international frameworks.
