Cyber Security Professional - Dublin

We are seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Professional to join our team in Dublin. As a key member of our security operations, you will play a vital role in supporting day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives in a hybrid working environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or experienced professionals looking to advance their career in the field of cyber security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle security-related incidents from start to finish, including investigation and resolution.
  • Process vendor remote access requests, prepare them for security review, and support the access setup steps.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness training, including assisting in phishing test campaigns planning and analysis.
  • Write and maintain knowledge base articles on security topics to support internal awareness and documentation.
  • Oversee and support the management of third-party patching processes to ensure timely and secure updates.
  • Participate in incident response activities, including investigation and documentation.
  • Help identify and remediate vulnerabilities across systems and applications.
  • Stay informed on emerging security trends and recommend improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in security management, cybersecurity, or related field; foundational security certification such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent preferred.
  • Internship or academic project experience in a security-related role; basic understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR), phishing, vulnerability management, and incident response is preferred.
  • Knowledge of information security principles, including confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Critical thinking with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to investigate issues and implications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively; ability to provide multiple solutions and seek stakeholder consensus.
  • Interest in continuous learning and professional development in the security domain.
