Job Title: Senior Design Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our design management function, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs across multiple projects.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Taking ownership of the design coordination process, including developing designs, producing workshop drawings, and managing the interface between departments.

    • Ensuring technical excellence across projects and opportunities from pre-project through to detailed delivery.

    • Leading the pre-construction phase design processes, liaising with the client and design team.

    • Auditing designs, identifying inconsistencies, discrepancies, and missing information, and recording, reporting, and tracking.

    • Managing the production and control of the design program and reporting against it.

    • Reviewing design development regularly alongside stakeholders to ensure projects are aligned.

    • Managing the production and approval of samples, mock-ups, and quality benchmarks.

  • Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction sector.

    • Degree certification in a relevant subject is highly desirable.

    • Knowledgeable in current building regulations and H&S legislation.

    • A passion for design, commitment to excellence, and focus on continuous improvement on both a personal and divisional level.

    • A high level of attention to detail and ability to stay focused.

    • Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize your own work, deliver on time, and delegate effectively.
