Design Engineer Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven individual to support the design process from tender stage through to construction.

This role involves coordinating design inputs, managing consultant deliverables, engaging with clients, and supporting internal teams across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review project documentation and coordinate pricing from consultants and subcontractors.
  • Develop design proposals, programs, and methodologies for submission.
  • Organize and manage site surveys and design deliverables during project mobilization.
  • Liaise with internal teams and designers to ensure timely progress and constructability input.
  • Support planning, permitting, and compliance processes as needed.
  • Manage and submit design change orders and progress updates.
  • Present developed designs at key milestones and finalize documentation for construction.
  • Provide ongoing design coordination and support during the construction phase.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a design coordination or civil engineering role.
  • Familiarity with utility infrastructure projects.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; CAD or GIS experience is an advantage.
