**Job Title:** Social Care Worker

**Role Overview:**

The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of professionals who provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in residential care settings. The role involves working with individuals who require emotional, behavioural or mental health support, and providing interventions, daily routines and emotional support to help them grow, develop and prepare for more independent living.

As a social care worker, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver person-centred care that meets the unique needs of each individual. This may involve supporting children in short-term, long-term or high-support placements, and working with them to identify and achieve their goals.

**Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing care and support to children and young people in residential care settings
  • Developing and implementing care plans that meet the individual needs of each child
  • Working with colleagues to deliver person-centred care that is responsive to the changing needs of each child
  • Supporting children in achieving their goals and promoting their independence
**Requirements:
  • Minimum 18 months' experience in children's residential care
  • Level 7 qualification in social care or a related discipline
  • Experience working with children
  • Eligible to work in Ireland
