We are seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to deliver exceptional service and provide expert advice on building defects, Technical Due Diligence surveys, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze building defects, collect information, and measurements.
  • Conduct TDD surveys and write detailed reports.
  • Provide reasoned advice and recommendations with detailed reports.
  • Serve as Contract Administrator, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Manage projects, including overseeing specialists and sub-consultants.
  • Prepare designs and specifications at various stages.
  • Report on progress and quality of third-party building works.
  • Prepare condition records and schedules of dilapidations.
  • Conduct RCAs.
  • Advise on historic property preservation and conservation.
  • Supervise building maintenance and prepare maintenance schedules.
  • Monitor development projects.
  • Manage health and safety compliance as PSDP.
  • Understand building mechanical and electrical systems.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years post-qualification experience.
  • Chartered Building Surveyor with SCSI or RICS membership.
  • Flexible working hours based on client needs.
  • Ability to manage instructions and maintain client relationships.
  • Understanding of commercial property.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong report writing skills with attention to detail.
