About the Position

We seek a detail-oriented individual to fill an IT Operations Analyst role. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in IT operations and systems administration.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members to ensure day-to-day IT systems run smoothly. They will assist in keeping websites updated, functional, and user-friendly, while learning best practices in web development and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day system support for issues, troubleshooting bugs, and escalating where required.
  • Monitor IT systems for availability, performance, and security issues.
  • Help troubleshoot hardware and software issues across desktops and laptops.
  • Update website content, images, and layout as needed.
  • Support testing and QA of new features, bug fixes, and deployments.
  • Design and build reports based on user requirements.
  • Assist with system administration and maintenance tasks such as account creation, permissions management, sandbox management, software updates.
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation, process guides, fixes, and asset inventories.
  • Adhere to IT policies, procedures, and security standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in IT/Computer Science or relevant work experience.
  • Understanding of basic SQL concepts and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Office 365.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Able to work independently within a small team.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating system.
  • Exposure to version control tools (e.g. Git/GitHub).
  • Basic understanding of web hosting and domains.
  • Familiarity with SEO basics.
