
Clinical Nurse Leader

The CNS will provide specialist nursing service for patients with haematological conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate care to patients, family and carers.
- Identify and agree referral pathways for patients with haematological conditions.
- Participate in patient case reviews with multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop and implement evidence-based guidelines and protocols related to haematology care.
- Lead the development of best practice guidelines and ensure compliance with standards.
- Manage nurse-led haematology clinics in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide education and health promotion material to patients and their families.
- Coordinate investigations, treatment therapies and follow-up care for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, family and carers to assess needs and provide relevant support.
- Specialist knowledge and skills in haematology nursing.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong assessment and planning skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and management skills.
