Project Coordinator

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our dynamic team as a Project Coordinator. In this role, you will play a key part in the successful delivery of public sector projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed project plans and schedules for public sector projects.
  • Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies.
  • Manage and monitor project progress throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and review project documents and contracts.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Provide advice on procurement strategy and contractual matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a related field such as project management, quantity surveying or construction management.
  • Professional membership with RICS or working towards it.
  • Proven experience in a project coordination or management role, preferably within the public sector.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as MS Excel and industry-standard estimation tools.
