Dangerous Goods Service Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Dangerous Goods Service Support Specialist.

As a key resource, you will be responsible for delivering compliant services to clients in the Dublin area and occasionally nationwide.

You will be the point of contact for advising clients on packaging requirements and solutions, providing mobile and remote support, and managing multiple requests based on lead time and urgency.

The role involves:

  • Providing specialist advice on packaging requirements and solutions to clients.
  • Offering guidance on national and international regulatory and logistics compliance through mobile and remote support.
  • Managing multiple priorities and requests based on lead time and urgency.
  • Packing, marking, and labeling dangerous goods and issuing relevant paperwork both onsite and remotely.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in logistics, operations, shipping, packing, or warehousing.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in transportation of dangerous goods or hazardous materials.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in preparing goods/materials for onward shipping.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience interacting with customers.
  • A full driving license.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive attitude toward customer service and performance.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with solid communication skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Fluent English, both written and verbal, with additional languages an advantage.
  • A fork truck license is a plus.
