Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to support the planning, implementation, and assurance of operations and maintenance (O&M) systems for new rail and urban transit projects.

The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of expertise in setup and management of O&M organizations, staff training, and support for commissioning and safety certification phases.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safety-Driven Operational Readiness: Develop and execute work streams for new rail systems, aligning with international best practices and local regulatory requirements.
  • Training Frameworks: Design and implement sustainable knowledge transfer and capacity building for O&M staff through "train-the-trainers" programs.
  • O&M Organization Setup: Support the structuring of O&M organizations, defining operational procedures, resource plans, and performance metrics.
  • Testing and Commissioning: Manage and supervise testing, commissioning, and trial run phases to ensure all operational systems are validated and ready for service.
  • Risk Assessments and Safety Cases: Contribute to operational risk assessments and safety cases.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with stakeholders, including system integrators, safety assessors, rolling stock experts, and regulatory bodies, to ensure a cohesive readiness process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in configuration management within large-scale infrastructure, rail, transportation, or safety-critical industries.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • MS Office, including at least intermediate Excel and Word skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel as per business and client requirements.
