Job Overview

The Technical Systems Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of automation systems within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This position requires a high degree of technical expertise, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to deliver compliant, reliable, and efficient process control solutions.

Duties:

  • Liaising with cross-functional teams to manage progress and remove roadblocks in day-to-day operations.
  • Coordinating with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and System Integrators to plan sprints.
  • Managing Technical Queries Log and updates.
  • Escalating issues to Workstream Leads and PMs as required.
  • Serving as the primary technical point of contact for DeltaV DCS-related projects and operations.
  • Implementing, configuring, and validating DeltaV systems according to FDA regulations, 21 CFR Part 11, and GMP guidelines.
  • Developing and testing DeltaV control strategies, logic, and operator interfaces.
  • Providing expert troubleshooting and root cause analysis for system issues.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation, including system design specifications, validation protocols, change control records, and SOPs.
  • Training operators, engineers, and maintenance personnel on system operation and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborating with Emerson, system integrators, and quality assurance teams during audits and inspections.
  • Identifying and implementing system enhancements to improve process control, data integrity, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related technical field.
  • Extensive experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS in a pharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with system validation lifecycle and documentation practices.
  • Proficiency with DeltaV software tools.
