Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Automation Professional to join our team as a DeltaV Lead Automation Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading pharmaceutical organization based in Ireland.

This role requires close collaboration with automation resources, vendors, and partners to deliver automation systems on time and within budget.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Working closely with vendors to ensure deliverables meet project requirements, including the interfacing of new automation equipment with existing site systems.
  • Collaborating with the DDQ and CSV functions to ensure their requirements are met in all deliverables.
  • Following project schedules and document trackers to manage and control project deliverables.
  • Participating in automation meetings and supporting relevant program meetings.
  • Liaising with stakeholders on the overall project to ensure clear communication between all parties.

As the successful candidate, you will possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry. You should have strong experience in Emerson DeltaV, including core system implementation, base layer, and batch layer. Knowledge of and experience with other systems such as Siemens PLC/SCADA, OSISoft PI, and Werum Pas-X would be advantageous.

Additionally, previous experience in API or OSD manufacturing, as well as high containment manufacturing, would be highly valued.
