Job Title: Software Development Professional

Job Description:

The Marine Institute is responsible for marine research and innovation. The Institute seeks to harness Ireland's 220-million-acre marine resource; promote sustainable industry development through strategic funding programmes and scientific services; and safeguard the marine environment through research and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and support software applications to help deliver the DCF/DCMAP programme.
  • Improve and migrate existing applications and databases to newer technology.
  • Develop new data collection solutions, including those required for electronic data capture and self-sampling.
Requirements:
  • A citizen of the European Economic Area (EEA).
  • Or a citizen of the United Kingdom (UK).
  • Or a non-EEA citizen who is a spouse or child of an EEA or UK citizen.
