Main Responsibilities
  • Oversees the maintenance and upkeep of equipment in operation.
  • Collaborates with external service providers for equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Utilizes a preventative maintenance system according to predetermined guidelines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for maintaining and repairing moulding equipment.
  • Works with Production Managers to troubleshoot equipment/plant issues.
  • Fosters relationships with customers and suppliers for continuous improvement and business development.
  • Attends, schedules, and facilitates internal meetings to establish priorities and assign tasks.
  • Solves customer-related problems/issues as needed.
  • Researches new processes and/or systems for maintenance/manufacture of equipment and implements new processes and systems under the direction of the Operations Manager.
  • Trains others on manufacturing-related skills or knowledge and assists in employee training on new processes or systems introduced to the company.
  • Complies with all site Environmental, Health and Safety requirements, training, and regulations.
  • Supports Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of set targets.
  • Performs additional duties at the request of the direct manager.

The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of CMMS and MS Office. Any other certifications would be advantageous. They must always comply with the company's safety policy and quality policy.
