Project Contract Administrator Manager.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Project Contract Administrator Manager to join our team. This is a key position responsible for overseeing the administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with project procedures and schedules.
- Input into contract strategy plans, aligning them with client requirements, head contracts, company scope of services and design deliverables.
- Assist in procurement and tendering of contract works packages.
- Assign contract documents for execution and ensure they are fully executed, returned to relevant parties and copies retained.
- Ensure all contracts are in place before construction commences.
- Collaborate with the construction manager to administer contracts in accordance with project procedures, schedules and budgets.
- Communicate contractual obligations and provisions to the Construction Management team and contractors.
- Verify contractor compliance with contractual obligations.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits.
- Manage insurance certificates and update records regularly.
- Implement Site Work Instructions and Site Variation Orders Procedures.
- Process payment certificates in line with clients' and contracts' requirements.
- Conduct monthly commercial meetings with contractors.
- Oversee final account agreements and issue final certificates.
- Compile and review monthly cost reports for inclusion in the Construction Report.
- Develop and implement contract close-out procedures.
- Issue Practical Completion Certificates to contractors.
- Execute Form of Release and Final Completion Certificates.
- Store records safely in archives after project completion.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Educated to degree level.
- Addition professional qualifications desirable.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in contract administration.
- Ability to contribute to project implementation and associated contractual strategies.
- Experience working on multiple projects in various sectors.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with ability to produce accurate work within deadlines.
