Project Manager - Commercial Solar Energy Ireland/Northern Ireland

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential criteria:

  • Local Experience: You must have a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in managing commercial-scale projects located within Ireland and/or Northern Ireland.
  • Work Authorisation: You must hold current and valid authorisation to work in Ireland and/or the UK.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: You must possess a deep understanding of local Irish and Northern Irish laws, regulations, and permitting processes for the commercial energy sector.
  • Health & Safety Leadership: Proven experience in enforcing strict health and safety protocols on-site, including logistics of loading materials onto roofs and managing work at height.

About This Opportunity

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that involves leading high-impact, commercial renewable energy projects. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of our projects while maintaining full compliance with all relevant laws, industry codes, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee 100% compliance with all applicable laws, industry codes, and safety standards.
  • Champion and enforce the highest standards of health and safety on all project sites, particularly concerning work at height and material handling.
  • Directly manage project budgets, schedules, and resources for commercial installations.
  • Act as the primary liaison with local authorities, utility providers, contractors, and key stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in managing commercial projects in Ireland and/or Northern Ireland.
  • Strong knowledge of local laws, commercial permitting, and regulatory requirements in the energy sector.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of managing multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in modern project management software and tools.
  • Availability for on-site work as project needs dictate.
