Senior Consultant in Operational Readiness

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to support the planning, implementation, and assurance of operations and maintenance (O&M) systems for new rail and urban transit projects.

This role will involve leading the development and execution of safety-driven Operational Readiness work streams, aligning with international best practices and local regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuration management within large-scale infrastructure, rail, transportation, or safety-critical industries.

  • Lead the development and execution of safety-driven Operational Readiness work streams for new rail systems.
  • Design and implement training frameworks, including train-the-trainers programs, to ensure sustainable knowledge transfer and capacity building for O&M staff.
  • Support the setup and structuring of O&M organizations, defining operational procedures, resource plans, and performance metrics.
  • Manage and supervise testing, commissioning, and trial phases, ensuring all operational systems are validated and ready for service.
  • Contribute to operational risk assessments and safety cases.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders including system integrators, safety assessors, rolling stock experts, and regulatory bodies to ensure a cohesive readiness process.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, and at least 10 years of professional experience in configuration management. They will also have strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams. Proficiency in MS Office, with at least intermediate skills in Excel and Word, is essential. Excellent communication and organizational skills are also required, as well as a willingness to travel as required by business and client needs.
