Job Title: Operations Control Duty Manager

The primary responsibility of the Operations Control Duty Manager (OCDM) is to manage and supervise administrative arrangements involved in aircraft operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coverage of administrative tasks supporting dispatch, briefing, and assisting the commander.
  • Aircraft allocation and scheduling coordination with all relevant parties.
  • Optimizing resource utilization and ensuring punctuality at minimal costs.
  • Day-to-day supervision of the Operations Control Centre on shift, covering all aspects of Operations Control.
  • Management tasks assigned by senior management as required.
  • Reviewing operations and crewing issues for informed decisions regarding schedule disruptions, on-time performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Liaising with other departments and senior management for up-to-date information on daily operations.
  • Maintaining compliance with mandatory regulations through Ops Control procedures.
  • Reviewing internal systems and procedures with senior management, introducing initiatives as needed.
  • Monitoring entry and accuracy of operational data into the operations management system.
  • Generating daily, weekly, or monthly reports as directed by senior management.
  • Coordinating flight schedule disruptions with handling agents and other departments.
  • Coordinating flight planning with local ATC centres and Eurocontrol.
  • Collaborating with ground handling regarding radio calls from aircraft.
  • Entering accurate flight tracking data into the Ops system.
  • Liaising with Ops Crew Control regarding delays, cancellations, and aircraft changes affecting pilots and cabin crew.
  • Ensuring correct crew compliment and timely notifications for roster changes, amendments, and notifications.
  • Maintenance of records, flight documents, and data as required.
