Duty Manager Job Role

We are seeking a seasoned Duty Manager to spearhead our food and beverage team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Food and Beverage Operations: Ensure seamless service delivery in the bar and restaurant, particularly during peak periods.
  • Guest Experience: Foster exceptional relationships with customers by actively listening and responding promptly to their queries.
  • Complaint Resolution: Effectively manage guest complaints and transform negative experiences into positive outcomes.
  • Security and Health and Safety: Prioritize the well-being and security of staff members and guests while on duty.
  • Team Support: Provide assistance to other departments as needed and undertake ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2 years' experience as a Duty Manager in a 4-star hotel and at least 3 years' food and beverage experience in a 4-star hotel.
  • Qualification: A third-level qualification in hotel management or similar would be advantageous.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Be a collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability: Be flexible and available to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
