Key Environmental Consultant Role

This senior environmental role involves overseeing the integration of environmental factors into large-scale development projects. These include energy generation, transmission and distribution initiatives, transportation upgrades, greenway projects, carbon capture pipelines, strategic rail projects, and regeneration schemes.

You will lead the preparation of environmental reports and review technical content to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet industry standards for compliance and quality management.

In a collaborative environment, you will work with integrated design teams to enhance project outcomes by identifying constraints, proposing impact avoidance strategies and mitigation solutions, and capitalizing on opportunities for added value.

The position requires strong project management skills, including resource allocation, budget oversight, and client relationship management.

You will promote AECOM's environmental services to internal and external stakeholders, identify business growth opportunities, and develop fee and technical proposals accordingly.

Beyond your core responsibilities, you will be expected to stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends in environmental management.

A successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
