Role Summary:
Our team is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to drive the development of our manufacturing processes and optimize them for maximum efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Introduce new products into our portfolio by compiling standard specifications for each process.
- Apply statistical techniques to ensure process optimization and improve product quality.
- Collaborate with production leaders to troubleshoot processing issues and implement corrective actions.
- Establish strong relationships with customers and suppliers to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the quality department to resolve customer-related problems and develop effective solutions.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our manufacturing teams.
- Coordinate the documentation development process in line with industry standards such as ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485.
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Plastics Engineering or a Degree in Engineering, accompanied by at least 4-5 years of experience in injection moulding.
- Proven expertise in injection mould tooling and design, injection moulding, processing, ancillary equipment, and automation systems.
- Knowledge of real-time monitoring systems, SPC, DOE, WCM, JIT, SMED, and Kaizen principles is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to document work performed effectively.
