Job Description

The primary goal of this role is to ensure that the Deli Department operates efficiently and effectively at all times, providing customers with exceptional quality products and services. This involves overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing stock levels, and maintaining high standards of presentation and customer service.

This is a key leadership position that requires a strong focus on sales growth, margin improvement, and waste reduction. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving targets and driving business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure effective inventory management and control
  • Implement and maintain efficient processes for deli operations
  • Manage and motivate a team of staff to deliver excellent customer service
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve profit margins
  • Monitor and control costs to achieve budget targets
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Supervisory/Management role, preferably in the food industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
