Civil Engineering Leadership Position

Job Overview:This role is a fantastic opportunity to work as a senior civil engineer in our Cork office, leading on the delivery of major projects across various sectors. As a member of our team, you will work closely with senior managers to drive project success.
- Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland or ICE
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a design office environment
- Excellent understanding of engineering principles
- Familiarity with DMURS
- Experience in compiling engineering planning documentation for major projects
- Experience of producing Flood Risk Assessments
- Experience in the preparation of Traffic & Transportation Assessments and Mobility Management Plans
- Road Safety Audit experience beneficial
- IT skills – including MS Word, Excel, basic AutoCAD skills + company design software packages
- Ability to identify and apply scientific methods to solve engineering problems
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
To succeed in this role, you will need a deep understanding of Irish regulatory and policy issues, as well as an appreciation of the full Project Delivery Process. Strong knowledge of costing and options appraisal is also essential.
