About the Job:

You will be responsible for managing a store when the Store Manager or Deputy Manager is not present. Your key responsibilities include ensuring your team is fully trained and validated in their roles, creating a culture of two-way communication, coaching and managing colleagues to enable them to deliver daily priorities, reviewing reports and systems to enable improvements for customers and colleagues, and driving a culture of zero food waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock control activities, warehouse layout and processes to ensure all colleagues can complete their routines right first time">
  • Be responsible for the store when the Store Manager/Deputy Manager are not present">
  • Create an environment of open communication, inspiring a culture of trust">
  • Coaching and managing colleagues to enable them to deliver their daily priorities">
  • Review reports and systems to enable improvements for customers and colleagues">
  • Drive a culture of zero food waste, manage date codes and ensure no food suitable for human consumption goes to waste">
  • Recruit the best colleagues for our team, selecting those passionate about delivering excellent customer service">
