Manager of Billing Operations

Join our dynamic team as we seek a seasoned professional to oversee billing operations, drive process efficiency and strategic initiatives.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing local team in shaping service-to-cash excellence across the business.
As a pivotal member of the finance team, you will oversee a talented group of Billing Specialists, ensuring seamless billing operations, maximized collections and consistent financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Performance: Lead, coach and mentor Billing Specialists; manage team structure and workload allocation; drive a performance culture centered on key financial metrics.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a strategic escalation point for Partners and Fee Earners; collaborate with Legal Administration to enhance reporting and support.
- Billing and Process Excellence: Lead financial reviews and ensure data integrity; solve complex billing issues e.g. e-billing, multi-payor matters; introduce automation and tools to drive office billing KPIs.
- Cash Collection and Lockup Management: Guide credit control strategy and aged debt recovery; ensure adherence to firm-wide billing policies and standards.
Essential Experience and Skills:
- At least 4-5 years' experience in a similar role;
- Strong team leadership and coaching capabilities;
- Proficient in SAP, Concur and e-billing platforms;
- Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI;
- Knowledge of Irish VAT regulations;
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
