About the Role

This senior accounting position offers a unique opportunity to oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with US GAAP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage General Ledger and Trial Balance for entities to facilitate monthly reporting to headquarters.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to prepare and file statutory accounts and tax returns in a timely manner.
  • Develop analytical review processes to report data and answer queries from local reporting managers and head office.
  • Support various functions worldwide to complete the monthly close and maintain ongoing compliance.
  • Deploy managerial accounting oversight around complex intercompany transactions and monitor intercompany activities and relationships.
  • Interact with business leaders to discuss financial results, anomalies, and corrective actions via business directives and support legal entity relationships or other changes.
  • Participate in corporate initiatives to centralize the accounting process for designated entities in EMEA & APJ Geo, establishing credibility and working relationships with existing and new staff.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and ensure compliance with Corporate policies and internal controls at all times.
Requirements
  • Must be ACCA, ACA, CPA, or CIMA qualified.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and US GAAP to local statutory accounting bridge experience.
  • Experience with monthly reporting within a multinational multi-currency company, showing a desire and ability to continually review processes and systems for improvement.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Financials or similar system and good Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team but also as a self-starter.
  • Flexibility during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end periods.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external key business partners.
  • Local GAAP and US GAAP accounting knowledge an advantage.

This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information.
