Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Vehicles Preparer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles for the painting process after they have been repaired by skilled technicians.

This role is crucial in ensuring that the surface of each vehicle is flawlessly prepped and primed, making it ready for the final paint application.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and repair vehicle bodies post-collision, preparing them for priming and painting.
  • Apply primer to repaired surfaces, ensuring thorough coverage and proper preparation for painting.
  • Sand, mask, and otherwise prepare vehicle surfaces to a fine finish.
  • Apply seam sealer as required to ensure waterproofing and seamless repairs.
  • Ensure that vehicles are clean, masked, and 'gun ready' for painters.
  • Collaborate closely with technicians and painters to ensure smooth workflow and quality control.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Manage supplies and equipment related to the prepping process, including inventory tracking and reordering as necessary.
