Vehicle Preparer Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Prepper to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting after they have been repaired by our panel beaters. This role is crucial in ensuring that each vehicle's surface is flawlessly prepped and primed for the final paint application.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Assessing and repairing vehicle bodies post-collision, preparing them for priming and painting.
- Applying primer to repaired surfaces, ensuring thorough coverage and proper preparation for painting.
- Sanding, masking, and otherwise preparing vehicle surfaces to a fine finish.
- Applying seam sealer as required to ensure waterproofing and seamless repairs.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Prepper in a professional auto body shop.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair and preparation techniques.
- Experience with seam sealer and other waterproofing applications.
- Skilled in the use of tools and equipment necessary for high-quality vehicle preparation.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to achieving excellent finishes.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
