Vehicle Preparation Role Overview

A leading organisation specialising in vehicle distribution, we are seeking an experienced Vehicle Preparer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are thoroughly prepared for the painting process by repairing damaged surfaces, applying primer, and achieving a flawless finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and repair vehicle bodies post-collision to ensure seamless integration with the next stage of the production process.
  • Apply primer to repaired surfaces, guaranteeing thorough coverage and optimal preparation for painting.
  • Sand, mask, and otherwise prepare vehicle surfaces to a high standard, delivering exceptional results.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth workflow and maintain the highest quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Preparer or similar role in a professional automotive setting.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques, including seam sealer application.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional finishes.
