Job Summary:Our team is seeking an experienced Vehicle Preparer to join us. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting after they have been repaired by our panel beaters.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and repair vehicle bodies post-collision, preparing them for priming and painting.
- Apply primer to repaired surfaces, ensuring thorough coverage and proper preparation for painting.
- Sand, mask, and otherwise prepare vehicle surfaces to a fine finish.
- Apply seam sealer as required to ensure waterproofing and seamless repairs.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Preparer in a professional auto body shop.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair and preparation techniques.
- Experience with seam sealer and other waterproofing applications is essential.
