Senior Financial Accountant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our client's team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant with 3+ years PQE to take on a challenging role in a well-established Irish company.

This Senior Financial Accountant will play a key part in the preparation of monthly management accounts, departmental cost analyses, and cash flow forecasts. They will also be responsible for business partnering with commercial and operational teams, as well as liaising with senior management on annual budget and quarterly forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, providing accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.
  • Prepare monthly departmental cost analyses to support informed decision-making.
  • Liaise with the senior management team to develop and implement strategies for improving financial performance.
  • Involve in the year-end statutory audit, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate funding for operations.
Requirements:
  • A qualified Accountant with 3+ years PQE experience.
  • Experience in Retail, Manufacturing or Logistics sectors would be beneficial.
  • Big 4 or top 10 trained individuals may have an advantage.
  • Strong skills in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
