Financial Accountant Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at a leading provider of integrated solutions for the alternative investment industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, acting as the main liaison and point of contact for all matters relating to the accounts.
  • You will assist senior accountants on other client tasks, including preparing management accounts, financial statements, and coordinating audit processes.
  • You will participate in the setup of structured finance entities and implement procedures and processes to ensure accounting and regulatory requirements are addressed.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Day-to-day operations management for clients, including following up with third parties such as investors, clients, auditors, and tax advisors.
  • Company accounts handling and collaboration in the preparation of periodic reports and regulatory reports.
  • Preparing financial statements, management accounts, and coordinating audits.
  • Assisting in bank account opening and process payments.
  • Attending requests from senior-level staff.
  • Participating in board meetings and shareholders' meetings.
  • Reviewing tax returns and tax balances.
  • Preparing VAT and VAT RTD returns to the Irish Revenue.
  • Assisting regulatory reporting teams in preparing FVC and S110 returns to the Central Bank of Ireland.
  • Providing tax planning assistance to clients in close collaboration with external tax advisors if needed.
