Job Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional to work one-on-one with a child requiring extensive care in their own home.

Responsibilities:
  • Administration of medications
  • Management of seizures, including administration of buccal midazolam if required
  • Nebulizer management
  • Pain management
  • Provision of high-quality care for a child with complex needs/disability
  • Airway Management
  • Suctioning
  • Stoma care management
  • Safe moving and handling of the child
  • Management of skin integrity
  • Maintenance of professional boundaries/Confidentiality
  • Working effectively in a home environment/lone worker setting
  • Infection control and safe disposal of clinical waste
  • CPR training
Requirements:
  • Current registration with ABA/NMBI
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Willingness to undertake any necessary training
  • Successful Garda Vetting
  • Registration with the INMO or affiliated union
  • Up-to-date immunizations and vaccination history
  • Full clean driving license (desirable)
