Job Overview

The debt capital markets group is a leader in the Irish market with an extensive record in debt capital markets and structured products.

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious professional to join our team of experienced lawyers who work collaboratively on some of the most complex mandates in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act for issuers, originators, lead managers, arrangers, rating agencies and trustees on debt capital market issuances and structured finance matters globally.
  • Work on complex debt capital market transactions, including public market and retained residential mortgage backed securitisations, synthetic securitisations, CLOs, loan originator platforms, regulatory capital issuances, high yield debt issuances, Eurobond issuances, debt programmes and private placements, structured debt issuances, green bond issuances, financial markets infrastructure, bridge and warehouse financing, securitisation take-outs and regulatory issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues, providing excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • 4+ years PQE as a debt capital markets lawyer in a corporate law firm or in-house.
  • Demonstrable experience working on debt capital markets transactions.
  • Strong academic credentials, analytical, technical and drafting skills, and high levels of commercial and business awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage competing demands and deadlines.
