Job Title: Duty Manager/Senior Charge Hand

Duty Management Role:

  • Collaborating closely with the hotel's management team on daily operations.
  • Leading a team of up to 40 people during busy shifts.
  • Providing hands-on assistance in areas where support is required.
  • Working effectively with the Restaurant/food service teams within the hotel.
  • Conducting weekly stock assessments.
  • Delivering staff training and development initiatives.
  • Driving sales growth for the property through collaboration with the hotels in-house sales team.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within busy 3*/4* hotels, minimum 2-3 years' experience. They must possess a strong understanding of the Restaurant/food service industry and be aware of new innovations taking place within the sector. HACCP training is also desirable.

Key requirements include the ability to multitask and assist where necessary across all areas of the hotel. Previous experience working with a hotel front office system would be beneficial. The successful candidate must also have previous experience in food & beverage and conference & banqueting and events.

Requirements
  • A current First Aid Certificate would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Strong people management skills are crucial.
  • Excellent communication skills are vital.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when necessary.
  • Availability to work early/late shifts.
  • Fluency in English Language both written and spoken.
