Job Title:

Health and Safety Business Partner

 

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety professional to lead our health and safety standards across multiple sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a zero-harm culture, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and developing effective safety management plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety management plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Investigate incidents and develop action plans to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Prepare reports to track health and safety performance.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of group health and safety procedures.
  • Integrate group programs for documented inspections, audits, and checks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • NEBOSH certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Substantial experience in site Health and Safety roles, including engagement of others in achieving health and safety improvements.
  • Experience of monitoring contractors and their compliance with safety obligations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to express ideas clearly and convincingly.
  • Ability to deliver objectives within agreed timeframes and manage priorities effectively.
