Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator

The Client requires a Senior Oracle Database Administrator with extensive experience in managing and supporting Oracle environments.

  • Day-to-day database administration, monitoring, and performance tuning of Oracle 12c systems.
  • Management and support of Oracle Forms and Reports and WebLogic Server, including deployments and troubleshooting.
  • Support and maintenance of Hyperion SQR reporting infrastructure.
  • Implementation and monitoring of robust backup and recovery procedures, including RMAN, Dataguard and Data Pump utilities.
  • Contribution to the enhancement and optimization of current systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • AIX system administration tasks related to the Oracle environment, including patching and resource management.
  • Business continuity and disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.
  • Documentation and knowledge transfer to internal IT staff where required.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in Oracle database administration.
  • Hold an Oracle Certified Professional-level certification or above.
  • Experience in upgrading and installing Oracle software preferably from Oracle 12c to Oracle 19c.
  • Expertise in Oracle Forms/Reports, AIX Operating System, and latest versions of Oracle Database and WebLogic Server.
