Job Title: Person in Charge

The role of the Person in Charge involves overseeing the entire management of a service. This includes ensuring compliance with quality standards and implementing organisational policies and procedures.

This is a key leadership position that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, providing guidance and mentorship, and coordinating appointments with multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervision, appraisals, and regular team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Care planning and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care plans.
  • Leadership and mentorship of staff to support their professional development and growth.

Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification such as QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or a degree in another related Allied Healthcare discipline.
  • Minimum three years experience in a management or supervisory role in the Health or Social Care sector.
  • Hold an appropriate qualification in Health or Social Care management at minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications.
